Eternity bands and rings

Eternity rings have gain very much popularity among the jewellery items since they are used as promise rings by couples who are in love with each other eternity rings or bands are used as a symbol of their relationship. Eternity rings and bands, just like wedding and engagement rings, are used to express your unending love to your loved one. The word eternity referring to an infinite amount of time, shows the everlasting love you have for the person.

The eternity bands and rings may be given in any celebration of happiness resulting from any event like child birth, marriage or engagement anniversary. Yet these can be given apart from these occasions such as you may give an eternity ring to your lover to represent your love to him or her though there is no special event or occasion.

Eternity rings, just like other jewelleries for example necklaces, can be made with expensive and magnificent gemstones like diamonds, tanzanites, sapphires and rubies. Diamond is the favourite choice of the most of the people. The price of these rings differ from each other according to the type of gemstone used, diamond ring being the most expensive. The ring can be worn alone or along with the engagement or marriage ring on the same finger.

A feature of an eternity band that signifies eternal love is the continuous arrangement of gemstones in a circular pattern of the gemstones. Diamonds or other gemstones are arranged along the perimeter of the circular ring. However, this is only present in a full rings which are lined with gemstones along the whole circle. Another arrangement is in a half circle where gems are fixed only to a part of the circle.

Gemstones used in eternity bands can be in a spherical or any other shape. As compact shapes are the most suitable and the most well-known, shapes like round, emerald cut and princess are used mostly. Mixed stone and shape rings are not commonly used since that does not maintain the continuous design.

Eternity band or ring is, therefore, is a very special to a person who has received the ring from his loving partner.
