What is a Smart phone Booster for?

Have you seen someone recently who was very clearly trying to shove a cell phone up one of his ears? No, he was not doing that. He was only trying to catch what the person at the other end was saying.

You must have experienced the same thing too. You were going great guns, talking your head off and, all of a sudden, the voice on the other end sounds as though the person has fallen into a deep well or a frog is stuck in his throat. What happened? The signals got weak. It happens all the time to all people. You move just a foot away from where you were and you lose the signal. Mobile phones are made that way.

Indoors, whether in a small and compact space or a large area, is not conducive to good reception at a satisfactory level in all areas. Some places may blast your ears off and others may exasperate you with very weak signals. The calls become static or are lost. Poor network coverage is one reason that this happens. Metal coverings or sidings and roofs have the habit of interfering with signals. If more and more people start using the network at any given time, the signal strength may wane and it may become difficult to hear. With the increased use of smartphone as against landline phones (which are dwindling), this problem will only get bigger unless the service provider strengthens the coverage. Not helping are the add-ons and the new applications that are being introduced.

Touch phone signal boosters are the answer to this irritating problem. These devices can drastically reduce dropped calls and may even extend the range of your mobile phone. You may even find long distance calls which were hitherto a pain in the neck have suddenly become pleasurable.

There are many brands that are reliable signal boosters. You do not to be a professional to install a signal booster at your home or in the office. Find the most suitable place by checking your mobile phone signal strength indicator. The mounting brackets should be fixed outside, preferably near a window, to hold the antenna vertically. There should be no metallic objects close by.

Keep the base unit inside the house and join the coaxial cable from the antenna. Be sure that the antennas in the base unit and the outdoor unit are at 90 degrees. You are now ready to talk your head off on your smartphone or tablet.
